POAB Legislative Update: SB 285 Advances in the House

SB 285 continues to move forward in the House, following passage out of the Ways and Means Committee.

An amended version of the bill has passed out of the House Ways and Means Committee and continues to move forward in the House. We are grateful for the strong grassroots support shown throughout this process.

Thanks to Speaker Jon Burns, SB 285 is still being considered in the House. An amended version of the bill has passed out of the House Ways and Means Committee under the guidance of Chairman Shaw Blackmon, with the unwavering support of POAB from Senator Randy Robertson.

We do not need to continue contacting legislators.
