Greg Dozier
In January 2020, Governor Brian Kemp appointed Greg Dozier as the sixth Commissioner of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG). As Commissioner, Dozier oversees the system's 22 technical colleges and manages the organization’s operations and initiatives.
Before joining TCSG, Dozier served as Chief Financial Officer for the State of Georgia and as Commissioner of the Department of Corrections. In 2005, he was appointed Commissioner of the Department of Driver Services (DDS), where he led significant customer service improvements and received the Governor’s Award for Customer Service – Leadership in 2008.
Dozier began his state government career in 1995 as an Analyst for the Legislative Budget Office. He later held roles at the State Board of Pardons and Paroles and the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget (OPB), where he advanced to Division Director of the General Government and Public Safety Division. He has served in leadership capacities under Governors Perdue, Deal, and Kemp.
Dozier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University. He is also a graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Course at the Regional Police Academy in Athens, where he received the Frank Thornton Academic Award for Excellence.
Commissioner Dozier resides in Covington with his wife, Stephanie, and their two daughters, Kinsley and Payton.
