Bryson brings a wealth of experience, having held prominent leadership positions with the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, the Georgia Department of Corrections, and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. His career also includes service as a deputy with the Ware County Sheriff's Office.

In addition to his role with the POAB, Homer Bryson serves as Secretary-Treasurer for the Magistrates Retirement Fund, Judges of the Probate Courts Retirement Fund, and the Superior Court Clerk's Retirement Fund. He is also a trustee on the Employee Retirement System of Georgia Board and a member of the Georgia State Indemnification Commission.
